Callooh! Callay! is (L-R) Bowen Robertson, Natalie Jensen, Adam Morrow, and Dan Walker. The band, which hails from Tuscaloosa, AL, started, in its initial form, in 2007. The lineup has been steady since 2008, with fourth member Bowen Robertson coming on board very early in 2009.
The band released "The Bird's Run" EP on August 4th, 2009. The EP was their first release, and it was distributed digitally for free. It is still available (for free) here. Shortly after this release, the group signed with Hackberry Records, a label from their hometown. The band looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Hackberry, as both groups gear up for the future.
The band will finish out 2009 by recording their first full length album, and playing a handful of shows. So, look for the record next year (estimated arrival time: February), and be sure to check out the show schedule to see when you can catch them live!
